Holding Hands
There are numerous different parkour events all around the world that all of us absolutely love. What makes Holding Hands different from all of these is its focus not on movement itself, but more so on parkour culture. Each season we create a welcoming environment which gives as much space as possible to various artforms and pieces created by many parkour artists from all around the world. As the name suggests, Holding Hands is an event connecting all the different branches of the worldwide parkour community. We host a premiere screening showing the best of previously unseen parkour video parts, a gallery exhibiting parkour photography, sculpture, short-form video and more fine art forms, a music show performed by parkour songwriters and djays and others.
Even though our main focus lays on parkour culture and art, in the surrounding days Prague is taken by a swarm of traceurs and there are multiple sessions being held at all of the most iconic spots. We also always host untraditional competitions and build specific setups for each season. Holding Hands is also an attempt to open the world of core parkour to people, who themselves do not practice parkour. We hope that by presenting parkour in all its shapes and forms, we can spark a broader interest within wider society. The overall goal of Holding Hands is to celebrate and further the love for parkour all of as bear deep in their hearts.
